    Kim

    Kim grew up in the Northern Neck of Virginia, spent summers with her grandparents and their chickens, dogs and pigs. Her favorites were the dogs of course! Before starting Fetching Life she attended the University of Virginia, graduating with her degree in Elementary Education. She taught First and Second Grade for five wonderful years at Trevilians Elementary School in Louisa County. After moving to NoVA with her husband, Amith and adopting a 120-pound Great Dane named Hagrid she started Fetching Life in 2008. Soon after an adorable Boston Terrier named Beans joined their family. In 2017, Kim and Amith welcomed their first child, Bryce. In 2018 Kim decided to take on the responsibility of President of the National Capital Area Professional Pet Sitters Network. In her free time Kim enjoys the beach; running; visiting friends; spending time with her cat, Mr. Bass and raising her handsome son Bryce.

    Cathleen

    Cathleen is a mother of 2 wonderful kids. A 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter. She was a dog mom to two outstanding doggies, Logan, a handsome Rottweiler who passed away in July 2015 and Kali a sweet Great Dane who passed away in November 2016. Cathleen has lived in the Northern Virginia for most of her life. She served in the Army right after high school through her early 20's , where she was stationed at Ft. Bragg North Carolina as an Airborne MP. During her free time she enjoys running, hiking, exploring Washington DC, trying new restaurants and traveling.
